Registration is open to all persons interested in the International Federation on Ageing 13th Global Conference, Disasters in an Ageing World.

All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete a registration form.  Please read the registration information below before you complete the online registration form.  Should you experience any difficulties please contact the Conference Managers by calling +61 7 3226 2800 or emailing ifa2016@arinex.com.au.

Registration Information

 

The registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

  • All sessions
  • Delegate satchel
  • All official documentation including program booklet, proceedings/abstract book and list of participants
  • IFA 2016 Welcome and Networking Reception
  • Catering: Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

Student & Seniors Registration
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  A senior is defined as a person of 60 years and over who is not working full time.

Student and Senior registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All sessions
  • Delegate satchel
  • All official documentation including program booklet, proceedings/abstract book and list of participants
  • IFA 2016 Welcome and Networking Reception
  • Catering: Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card or your Senior’s Card must be sent to the Conference Managers via email or fax to the addresses shown on the Contact Us page.  Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be confirmed on full payment of fees due.

Name badge
Each member of the conference will receive a name badge upon registration on site at the Conference.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times during the Conference to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.  The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

 

Group Registration
Group registration is offered when a single entity registers ten (10) or more participants.  To enquire about a group registration please email the Conference Managers at the email address given on the homepage.

Group registration is available to assist organisations wishing to send multiple participants to the Conference.  A list of participants must be nominated when submitting the group registration form but can be changed.  The final list of participants must be emailed to the Conference Managers fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the Conference.  Please note that registration fees applicable for group registrations will be the fees as advertised at the date of payment of the registration fees.

Private Touring, Private Functions, Hospitality Arrangements
Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, private functions, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Conference Managers who will be pleased to assist with arrangements.

It is requested that you advise the Conference Managers of any private /corporate functions that may be planned outside of the official program.  This will assist in smooth planning of all official and other events during the Conference.

 

Credit Card
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.  Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express.  Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.

Cheque
All payments by cheque incur a A$10.00 processing fee and will only be accepted up until 3 May 2016.  Please complete the online registration form and select the ‘pay via Cheque’ option. Cheques are to be made payable to ‘Arinex Pty Ltd’.  Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque.  Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank.  No other currency will be accepted. After 3 May 2016 all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

Registration Fees:  Before Monday 21 March 2016 there will be an A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations before 3 May 2016 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
Cancellations on or after 3 May 2016 will receive no refund.

Accommodation:  A minimum of one night’s deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee reservation.
One nights deposit is non-refundable at 13 May 2016.

Social: Payments are non-refundable at 13 May 2016.

This information is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

Recordings / Copyright
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
